The Isle of Man is full of everyday heroes who do extraordinary things. They help support and encourage others and are the people that really make the Island a great place to live.
Every year, Dream Catcher gives you the opportunity to acknowledge your local hero at the Heroes in the Community Awards. It’s your chance to recognise those people across the Isle of Man who work for the good of others or who have show tremendous courage, and in turn help raise funds for our fantastic charity!
The 2017 ceremony was held on 21st October at the Empress Hotel in Douglas and had a circus theme. Winners, their guests and members of the local business community were treated to a fantastic show, with entertainment from local circus performers and live music from The Waltons.
The event raised a more than £8,000 for Dream Catcher so thanks to everyone who made it such a fabulous extravaganza!
Congratulations to the winners – you truly are all superheroes!
